I know it is a few days late but here is the really cute craft we did for the 4th of July. We spent a couple days learning about how the Statue of Liberty was a gift from France, and that Lady Liberty is one of our nations symbols. The class really got into learning about her! Here is the project we did, and it turned out amazing 🙂
Take a large paper plate and cut out the middle. Then add 7 triangles to the top. The 7 triangles represent the 7 contents.
I then had my students paint them green.
Once we painted them, we used gold glitter to make the headbands/ hats more festive.
Once dry the students wore them around the class and took them home to help celebrate Independence day!
